DAILY CREATE -#1

For my first daily create that @ds106dc tweeted, I chose this one;

“Write a short poem by hand”

I took this opportunity to write something that was personal to me and something that i have a passion about, so i chose travelling. But to add a twist I wanted it to be a bit mysterious to make people think a little.
My poem;

Voyage

There she blows

Where she goes?

Nobody knows.

DAILY CREATE -#2

For my second daily create i went more towards the theme of photography, with a daily create called “lasts”.

“Lasts: The last trip to the pool. Or the lake. The last hike. The last popsicle. Capture your warm weather favorites before it really cools down!”

SO! As much as i love the cold crispy nights in Autumn and winter, I am sad to say goodbye to summer for the year. My summer has been amazing, you can check out my flickr to check out all the awesome things I’ve done this summer!
However, some of those things will not be the last time I ever do them… But the last time i get to do them for now.

The last time i get to walk straight out of my hotel in Sri Lanka onto this stunning beach.

(NEVER WILL THIS BE) The last time i ride an elephant.

The last time i get to wonder along the river in Budapest.
( Major recommend if you’ve never been Budapest!)

Finally, the last time i take a spontaneous trip to Wales to see my family and watch the beautiful summer sunsets.

DAILY CREATE -#3

My third daily create was called “an old photo” where I had to make a recent photograph into an old looking photograph.

I quite liked the idea of this, mainly because i look the look of old photographs and how instead of just being on a phone or laptop they were actually photographs where you could hold them and show them to your family in years to come.

Anyway, I decided to create two old looking photographs, one of me and my friends having fun in a water fountain in Budapest. Although i adore this photo as it brings back happy memories, you can’t really see what’s going on unless you were there.

My second old photograph was a picture of my boyfriend at this big lake place we came across. I love this photo, I think this suits the ‘old fashioned look’ a lot more, however i do enjoy being able to see colour.
